Unlock your leadership potential and paddle your way to success with our #ShePaddles Leadership Development Programme.
The #ShePaddles programme will be an empowering and transformative experience for female paddlers designed to enhance leadership skills, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure. Through a series of in-person and online sessions with leading performance consultants Jo Hopkins and Eliza Downey, you'll explore your leadership style, understand the impact of pressure on performance, and learn from various fields such as sport, the military, and the arts to drive individual and team performance. Additionally, hands-on paddling sessions led by Effie Ellis-O'Neill, an experienced Coach and Tutor of BCAB Qualifications, will help you develop and refine your skills on the water and guide you in your goal setting whilst building a community of female paddlers.
The programme is designed for female Paddlesport Instructors, Sheltered Water Coaches, Leaders, or those with equivalent experience who are paddling at this standard. We aim to support individuals in the early stages of their coaching or leadership development journey. Whether you're looking to advance your career, enhance your coaching skills, or simply grow as an individual, this programme provides the tools and support you need to succeed. This programme is fully funded by Paddle Northern Ireland.
The programme will consist of six sessions, three on the water and three off the water. A detailed programme schedule is provided below. To gain the full benefits of the programme, participants are encouraged to attend all sessions whenever possible. Please indicate on the Expression of Interest form if you will be unable to attend any session.
If you would like more information or have any questions please email admin@paddleni.org.uk and we can arrange a call with one of the team.
Join us and paddle towards a more confident, impactful, and resilient you!
