Paddle Northern Ireland members are covered by Public Liability Insurance, with the exception of Affiliated Club Members where insurance is only provided during club sessions and activities. If you think you will be paddling outside of club sessions you will need to purchase individual Paddle Northern Ireland Membership.

LIABILITY INSURANCE
Paddle Northern Ireland Full, Recreational and Youth membership will provide you with Public/Products Liability Insurance through Marsh Sport which protects you if you are held responsible for causing injury to another person or financial loss or damage to someone else's property.
Please note if you are an Affiliated Member through one of our Affiliated Clubs, the insurance you receive is only valid during official club activity.
Coaches are required to hold full membership of Paddle Northern Ireland and are provided with insurance cover and Professional Indemnity insurance cover. Professional Indemnity insurance is a cover that protects coaches who provide advice or service to the people they are coaching. It protects coaches against legal costs and claims for damages to third parties which may arise out of an act, omission or breach of their professional duty in the course of their coaching. Please note coaches are insured up to a turnover of £30,000 per annum, if your turnover exceeds this amount or your trade as a Limited Company you are not covered by this insurance and should seek your own separate insurance. or

CRAFT INSURANCE
Paddle Northern Ireland have teamed up with Noble Marine to give members a 10% discount when insuring canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. Noble Marine also gives members the opportunity to add additional craft at any point giving a 12.5% multiboat discount (max £150 discount per policy). European and worldwide cover is also available on request.
