BECOME A TRAINNG PROVIDER

If you are interested in becoming a training provider, then the first step is to read the qualification course documents for the personal performance, coaching, leadership or rescue award that you'd like to provide on the British Canoeing Awarding Body Website (BCAB) website. Know what the minimum requirements are for the role and familiarise yourself with the Award Guidance Notes, Course Syllabus and Tutor and Assessor Notes.

  1. Check that you meet the role essential (and desirable) requirements - fill any gaps that you may have identified.
  2. Get out and observe the course being delivered.
  3. Become a provider of relevant Personal Performance Awards and deliver courses (this is a great introduction to delivering a syllabus driven course).
  4. Make sure your Coach Update is in date.

Each provider role has essential (and desirable) requirements that will be detailed in the application form when available.

If roles are open for application they will be advertised here.

Please note if we have advertised orientation dates as part of a recruitment for a role, please ensure your are available on these dates.
