The Strategy for Paddlesport in Northern Ireland
The Paddle Northern Ireland 2023-2028 strategy will shape our direction for the next five years and aims to produce opportunities to see Paddlesport grow and flourish in Northern Ireland. Extensive consultation with clubs, volunteers, commercial providers, and other outside agencies has enabled Paddle Northern Ireland to produce a Strategy that will meet the needs of our members and stakeholders and will promote the enjoyment and development of Paddlesport supporting the delivery of key objectives and serving as a mechanism to overcome challenges.
We are also seeking nominations from our current clubs and members for three new board directors. Clubs are the grassroots of our sport and the knowledge and experience of our members is invaluable to the continued development of the sport. We may also have existing members who through their careers have some of the skills needed to support the delivery of The Strategy for Paddlesport in Northern Ireland, leadership, finance, governance, risk management, internal controls, sports development or marketing and communications.
If you would like some information about a role on our board please contact rodgerhamilton@paddleni.org.uk or lynsherriff@paddleni.org.uk who would be happy to answer any questions or take a look at the Board Recuitment Pack above.
Nominations for these roles should be emailed to
lynsherriff@paddleni.org.uk by Thursday 14th November 2024.
