COACH & LEADER REGISTRATION

British Canoeing Awarding Body Coaching and Leadership Qualifications require a registration process with your relevant National Association (Paddle Northern Ireland) prior to booking a course. 

Registration is separate from booking on a course as this is done directly with a course provider. Please note many Providers request proof of registration prior to booking.

What is Registration?

Registration is the process by which you confirm your intention to study towards a particular qualification.

It includes:

• Checking of previous qualifications
• Completing the Registration form
• Extends your Membership Insurance to cover whilst you are studying (see National Association website for more information)
• Medical Declaration (if required)
• Setting up and providing access to course resources and eLearning (where applicable)
• Acceptance of the terms and conditions of study and helps you understand your rights whilst undertaking the qualification and how your data will be used

When does registration take place?

We would recommend that you register as early in your development journey as possible, once registered you become a learner with Paddle Northern Ireland and we can contact you with relevant information and updates regarding your course and if required help you find a course provider and access support or mentoring.

To support your learning we would recommend registering at least two weeks before starting your training course.

Registration varies depending on type of course and fees ranges between £40.56 and £145 depending on the qualification.
