Stephen Craig

Stephen has been an active club paddler for most of his life having started while at school. He has been a member of Paddle Northern Ireland (previously CANI) for over 50 years and elected to the then, Council in the 1980’s. Stephen has held a number of posts over the years, most recently serving as President from 2008 – 2023 and on the Board of British Canoeing from 2015 – 2023.

Stephen started his career as an engineer and went on to run his own electronic and heating maintenance and repair business. In 2004 he changed direction and began a career in the outdoor pursuits and corporate development sector and freelances it the outdoor industry training groups for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme.
